 Happy New Year!!! With 2021 upon us, I wanted to look back on how much my blog has grown over the last six months. Here are the top 10 most popular blog posts and recipes from 2020. How was your New Years Eve? Ours was very quiet and relaxing. We ordered in some pizza, played board games while watching New Year's Rockin' Eve on TV, waiting for the ball to drop.  Decadent caramel stuffed brownies are topped with charming Halloween characters. Halloween has always been an exciting holiday in our house. I love all holidays really. I just love the fun and excitement that surrounds holidays. I love seeing things through the eyes of children and I am really just a big kid at heart! Yogurt covered pretzels and marshmallows are the secret behind these super cute Halloween treats! I saw these cute little things on the cover of a magazine (about 10 yrs ago), in the checkout line of our local grocery store. I just knew I had to make them, so I bought the magazine. By now, most of you know just how much I love Halloween recipes!  I just love these super cute cupcakes! They are really quite simple to make. I used white melting chocolate to glue the pretzels and marshmallows to my lollipop sticks. I figured they would set up faster, than if I used frosting, like the recipe instructed. I was beyond happy as to how these turned out. So stinking cute!!! Wow your friends and family with these homemade Halloween Treats! I've been seeing these cute little meringue ghosts over the Internet. I totally fell in love with them and thought they would look super cute on a cupcake. I just love how whimsical and very airy they look and knew that they would be the perfect topper for a Halloween inspired cupcake. And this is also a first for me. I've never made a baked meringue before, so I was a little apprehensive about this part. These ghosts are so simple to make and are so adorable. I found a great recipe/video on how to make them over on the  Joy of Baking . I used my spice/coffee grinder to turn my sugar into super fine sugar. You want it fine, but not so fine that you make powdered sugar. I really love how the video suggests to touch the meringue and rub it through your fingers to see if all the sugar has dissolved properly. My kids have not seen friends, or the inside of a school since March. While we do have our social bubble, this bubble consists of family and a few select friends.
