We decided to stay home from the cottage this weekend, to prepare for a big friends and family event on the weekend of the 13th. I've only been buying meat if it's on sale, or discounted and I've fallen in love with noodles from the Asian section of the grocery store. These chow mein, lo mein or vermicelli noodles are a great way to fill your tummy. One package can easily feed 4-6 people. What is Ramen? Ramen is a Japanese noodle dish, usually served as a soup, with broth, meat, and vegetables. The noodles are wheat based and cook up quite quickly.
