This week is my last week of work before Christmas holidays. One of my favourite things about my job is that I get a few weeks off during the winter. Which is very welcome, since I have been busy preparing extra Holiday offerings to sell at the Education Center this month. 

Having the week before Christmas off will also give me a chance to get my Christmas baking done. I have all my ingredients, now all I need is the extra time.

When the warm weather hits many of us head to the cottage, to enjoy the sunshine and time near the water. Instead of always packing up burgers and hot dogs, I've rounded up over 50 creative meal ideas for delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Sam & Cat Sloppy Waffles

 A nod to the popular preteen TV show Sam & Cat, these s loppy waffles pair classic sloppy joes with crisp waffles. Years ago, my daughter fell in love with a kids show called Sam and Cat. This show melds two shows the kids use to watch together. It stars Sam Puckett (Jennette McCurdy) from iCarly and Cat Valentine (Ariana Grande) from Victorious. It's a witty and fun show and the kids loved the hijinks these two girls get into every week. In one particular episode, they get stuck inside a secret room, they find in their apartment (which use to be Cat's Nonna's before she moved to Elderly Acres). While they are stuck in the secret room, Cat mentions her idea of Sloppy Waffles, which pairs waffles and sloppy joes. Sam falls in love with the idea and once they are rescued by their friend Goomer, the show ends with the girls enjoying Sloppy Waffles.
