Today is my first day back to work! I am excited and nervous since I haven't had to work and be mom in almost 2 yrs. It was nice to be home to take care of the kids, cook and bake whenever the mood hit and to work out on my schedule. I'm hoping to continue working out, though I will be on my feet for the majority of the day. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and thank you for sharing with us again this week!

    Thank you for the inspiring ideas and recipes - GREAT party as always. This week I brought CHICKEN FRIED CHICKEN with GRIDDLE POTATO LATKES & GREEN CHILE GRAVY, BLUEBERRY LEMON/LIME CURD MUFFINS and CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER CRINKLE COOKIES. I hope you’re having a GREAT week.

 These delicious cinnamon sticky rolls have been in my family for over 40 yrs. No yeast is required, so you can whip up a batch of these in no time. Still tender, sticky sweet and delicious! When the warm weather hits many of us head to the cottage, to enjoy the sunshine and time near the water. Instead of always packing up burgers and hot dogs, I've rounded up over 50 creative meal ideas for delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Ever since I was little my family always enjoyed a few weeks camping at a near by provincial park, during the summer months. When us kids, became older and moved away, Mom and Dad bought a trailer which remained parked at a location, so we would often go and visit for a few weeks then too. My mom has always been an amazing cook and with her outside kitchen often made our family favourites, even at camp. Now that my SO and his family have a cottage, we are frequently there for most of the summer. Sam & Cat Sloppy Waffles

 A nod to the popular preteen TV show Sam & Cat, these s loppy waffles pair classic sloppy joes with crisp waffles. Years ago, my daughter fell in love with a kids show called Sam and Cat. This show melds two shows the kids use to watch together. It stars Sam Puckett (Jennette McCurdy) from iCarly and Cat Valentine (Ariana Grande) from Victorious. It's a witty and fun show and the kids loved the hijinks these two girls get into every week. In one particular episode, they get stuck inside a secret room, they find in their apartment (which use to be Cat's Nonna's before she moved to Elderly Acres). While they are stuck in the secret room, Cat mentions her idea of Sloppy Waffles, which pairs waffles and sloppy joes. Sam falls in love with the idea and once they are rescued by their friend Goomer, the show ends with the girls enjoying Sloppy Waffles.
